Essay

The dissertation is devoted to research and calculation of electromechanical processes in the asynchronous adjustable - frequency (a-f) electric drives and to control by these drives too. There is presented qualitative and quantitative analysis of electromechnical processes in stationary starting and working asynchronous motor's regimes by power supply from different types of the inverter frequency converters (FC) taking into account their nonsinusoidal output signals and saturation of the main magnetic motor circuit. The control methods and automatic frequency regulation systems circuits of the asynchronous drives with inverter FC are elaborated. They guarantee qualitative standard electromechanical processes of the drive and don't use any sensors inside and on shaft of the motor. The main results of the work are confirmed experimentally and have found an industrial unitity in the design of the asynchronous a-f electric drives.
