Essay

This work is dedicated to resolving the problem of the acute brain injury at the modern level and is based on the analysis of 10,206 cases. Despite the increase in frequency and severity of injuries, the implementation of the developed complex of scientific, methodical and clinical measures enabled to reduce the general mortality rate with the acute brain injury by 32% and the post-operative rate 28% over 1996-1998 in Ukraine.
