Nechytajlo Y. Health of school-age children of Bukovina, new direction in its estimation and diseases prevention

The thesis is devoted to study of health conditions of school-age children of Bukovina, estimation of their physical development and separate forms of morbidity based on the new methodological approaches. The modern smoothed graphic forms of percentiles age standards for basic somatic parameters of children and for number of anthropometric indexes were created. Interrelations between anthropometric parameters of the school-age children and social, household, ecological factors were studied with the help of multyfactoral modeling with estimation of risk of deviation in physical development. The association of the morbidity of respiratory and digestive systems with the environmental factors was analysed. The opportunity of the vitamin-mineral nutritional supplement application with the purpose to decrease negative environmental influence on children was investigated.
