Essay

The object of research is the pulsed electromagnetic field, which is created using massive single-turn solenoid in the process of electromagnetic forming of metal workpieces. The subject of research are profiles of massive single-turn solenoids which generate a given distribution of magnetic field at the surface of a metal workpiece. The scientific and practical task of determining the massive single-turn solenoid profiles is solved using analytical solutions of analysis problems for pulsed magnetic field which is created by elementary sources. The problems of scientific research were solved using fundamental concepts of theoretical electrical engineering, mathematical physics, numerical methods of analysis and modern informational technologies.
