Essay

The dissertation is devoted to substantiating the parameters of subsoil thermal energy extraction and discharges clearing by solving three basic scientific problems connected with establishing the heat transfer laws for water temperature changes in geothermal system depending on the sizes of wells; increasing the content of graphite powder in the clay-graphite mixture due to a disproportionate increase of the thermal conductivity coefficient; the relationship between the water composition and the biomass growth dynamics in a certain temperature range. At work the existing technologies of biological diversity restoration on the industrial sites of the liquidated mines and in the barrow pit spaces have been analyzed; analytical substantiation has been carried out and regularities of geothermal energy use to intensify biodiversity restoration in technology-related degraded areas have been determined; the parameters of technological processes of geothermal energy use for intensive reclamation of degraded mining areas have been substantiated; analytical and experimental dependences on the efficient use of geothermal energy for the restoration of biological diversity in the industrial sites of liquidated mines and in the barrow pits have been generalized.
