Essay

Thesis for obtaining the Candidate of Sciences degree in Biology, specialty 091- Biology. - ESC "Institute of Biology and Medicine", Kyiv National Taras Shevchenko University, Kyiv, 2020. The dissetation is devote to the study of nerve conduction and mechanokinetic parameters of muscle contraction of the hind limbs in rats with diabetic polyneuropathy and after treatment of Cocarnit. Cocarnit (World Medicine) is a complex of metabolic substances and vitamins: nicotinamide, cocarboxylase, cyanocobalamin, disodium adenosine triphosphate trihydrate. The most common complication of type 1 and type 2 diabetes is diabetic polyneuropathy, a lesion of peripheral nerve tissue. Now, there is no effective treatment for DP available globally. Despite the fact that many studies have been devoted to the study of the mechanisms of development of diabetic polyneuropathy, the pathogenesis remains insufficiently studied, which contributes to late diagnosis and complicates the choice of adequate pathogenetic therapy. Therefore, to overcome this serious complication, it is important to investigate the role of causative factors in nerve tissue dysfunction and loss.
