The dissertation is devoted to the study of the problem of treatment of acute pancreatitis complicated by ascites peritonitis. Acute pancreatitis is one of the most common diseases of the digestive system, requiring urgent hospitalization, and there is a global trend to increase the incidence. Тhe introduction of an algorithm for the treatment of patients with acute severe pancreatitis complicated by ascites-peritonitis using a method for predicting the development of persistent organ dysfunctions and infectious complications in the dynamics of the disease, by determining the level of free triiodothyronine and procalcitonin at the time of hospitalization.
