Essay

The dissertation thesis is dedicated to solution of scientific-applied problem of improvement of cartographic support of the KENS due to increase of magnetic maps accuracy. This work offers improved approach for correction of magnetometer indicators in order to improve the accuracy of magnetic maps. The existing approach performs the correction of magnetometer indicators using the reference data obtained from the variation station. The problematic of this approach is that in order to improve the accuracy of correction, variation stations occasionally correct their data using magnetic observatories in real time. In order to implement a request for data from a magnetic observatory, the Internet protocol is used, since variation stations and magnetic observatories are installed in remote areas, to reduce the influence of the environment on the performance of magnetometers, the use of the Internet protocol becomes impossible. This work proposes its own approach using delay tolerant networking (DTN), as a solution to an existing problem, implementation and improvement of the proposed approach were implemented using the Python programming language, thus, the feasibility of using the software and hardware of this approach was proved.
