Thesis is devoted to the research of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence, telephone conversations, telegraph and other correspondence and its ensuring in Ukraine. The doctrinal sources of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence in Ukraine and abroad are analyzed. The basic directions of scientific thought in the field of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence are defined. The author's definitions of "the doctrine of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence" are proposed. The genesis of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence is researched. The historical prerequisites are outlined that affected to the process of nascence, formation and development of the constitutional human right to the secret of correspondence and its ensuring, in Ukraine and in the world. The author's periodization of the development of the researched law is proposed.
