Yurash Y. Odessa board of the Prisons’s trustee institution: organization, structure, activity.

The dissertation research is focused on the process of formation and activity of the Odessa board of the Prisons’s trustee institution, which provides coverage of the formation and prosopographic portrait of the leadership of the Odessa board, including the women's department; characteristics of its activities. Special attention is paid to the maintenance and care of the Board on juvenile delinquents and women prisoners. The source database consists of documents of the archives of Odessa, Mykolaiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, the press, published legislative and other materials. For the first time, features of the activity of different provincial boards of the Prisons’s trustee institution of Dnieper Ukraine were determined; economic, adaptive and educational activities of the Odessa board are disclosed; the stages of activity of the Odessa board of the Prisons’s trustee institution are suggested, the role and and importance of the Odessa board for the urban community and beyond is revealed.
