Essay

Objects of research – bronchial asthma in conditions of adrenaline myocardial damage; subject of research – indicators of cellular and humoral immunity, cytokines, prooxidant and antioxidant systems in the blood, lungs and myocardium of guinea pigs with bronchial asthma and adrenaline damage to the myocardium before and after correction with corvitin; purpose – to find out the pathogenetic features of the development of bronchial asthma and adrenaline myocardial damage and to establish the antioxidant and immunomodulatory effects of corvitin on them; methods – experimental (simulation of bronchial asthma and adrenaline damage to the myocardium), immunological (determination of T and B lymphocytes, circulating immune complexes in the blood), enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (determination of tumor necrosis factor-alpha, interleukin 6, interleukin 10 in the blood), biochemical (determination of diene conjugates, malonic dialdehyde, superoxide dismutase, catalase, glutathione reductase in the lungs and myocardium), mathematical (processing of digital data by the method of variation statistics using Student's t test); results – biochemical and immunological studies expand and deepen the known knowledge about the mechanisms of formation of bronchial asthma and adrenaline myocardial damage. The pronounced antioxidant and immunomodulatory effect of corvitin on impaired markers of metabolic and immune processes indicates the feasibility and prospects for its further study and use in the clinic in the development of bronchial asthma and adrenaline myocardial damage and the development of guidelines. The results of the research were introduced into the educational process at the Department of Pathological Physiology of Ivano Frankivsk National Medical University, I. Gorbachevsky Ternopil National Medical University, Danylo Halytsky Lviv National Medical University, Bukovynian State Medical University, Department of Anatomy and Physiology Lviv Medical Institute, confirmed by acts of implementation; branch – Нealth care.
