Essay

The thesis is devoted to determining the role of Toll-like receptors of subgroups 2 and 4, vascular endothelial growth factor, inflammatory mediators in the psoriasis pathogenesis in the advanced stage of the disease with the determination of diagnostic immunological and microbiological parameters. The work substantiates the theoretical and practical solution of the urgent problem—the definition of the pathogenetic role of Toll-like receptors and vascular endothelial growth factor in psoriasis as a result of infectious pathology in the advanced stage of the disease based on the study and assessment of the state of the leading criteria of the body's immune resistance, cytokine balance, and microbiological status depending on a clinical form of the disease. Thus, the thesis provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem of determining the pathogenetic role of Toll-like receptors of subgroups 2 and 4 in psoriasis in the advanced stage as a result of infectious pathology based on the study of the leading criteria of the state of innate and adaptive immunity, cytokine balance, and microbiological status depending on the clinical form of the disease and the PASI score.
