The dissertation provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem, which is manifested in the development of the basis for investigating corruption crimes in the field of official activities and professional activities related to the provision of public services. It was emphasized that the development of public relations in Ukraine largely depends on the normal functioning of public authorities and the implementation of relevant policies in various spheres of public life. This contributes to the further development of Ukraine as a state governed by the rule of law with real respect for the rights, freedoms and legitimate interests of citizens. However, quite often the normal functioning of society and ensuring the rights and fundamental freedoms of citizens are hampered by harmful negative phenomena, one of which today is crime and other offenses.
