Hridina N. Administrative and Legal Principles of Interaction of the National Police with State and Public Institutions on Combating Gender-Based Violence

Taking into account the systemic changes that took place in all spheres of public life on implementing European standards in regard to the respect for human and civil rights and freedoms and their non-discrimination, the author of the dissertation research has defined the concept and specific features of combating gender-based violence as an object of administrative and legal regulation. It has been proved that combating gender- based violence is part of the state policy on non-discrimination in all spheres of public life. Combating gender-based violence as a separate direction of the state policy on preventing discrimination against human rights should be understood as a set of public and legal relations, which are regulated by the norms of administrative and criminal law and aimed at active, target-oriented and systematic actions to detect and restrain offenses related to discrimination against people on the basis of gender stereotypes and bringing perpetrators to justice.
