Essay

The thesis is devoted to the definition of the nature and content of the principles of legal regulation of judges' work. The thesis provides a theoretical generalization and a new solution to the scientific problem, which is to establish a range of principles of legal regulation of judges' work in Ukraine, to reveal their essence and features, based on which to develop a number of proposals and recommendations aimed at solving the problems and shortcomings of the current labor legislation, in the norms of which these principles are reflected. It is found that a judge is also an employee who is an official of the relevant court and performs a number of specific functions related to the administration of justice in the state and receives a monetary reward for it. Given the above, it is argued that the judges' work is a special type of labor activity of specially authorized subjects of labor law, who hold positions in the relevant court, and whose competence includes the administration of justice in order to protect the legal rights, freedoms and interests of citizens of Ukraine.
