Veselovskyi B. Legal regulation of service of general economic interest as one of the forms of compatible state aid in the EU and in Ukraine

The dissertation research itself is a study of a topic that is new to our state and legal doctrine in Ukraine. Only in 2014, the Law of Ukraine “On State Aid to Business Entities” was adopted, and accordingly, in 2018, for the first time, a legal act on services of general economic interest was adopted. The lack of a legal basis for the development of this legal institute was one of the reasons for the lack of work and work on this issue among Ukrainian researchers. Active European integration activities of our state and commitments on this topic in accordance with the Association Agreement led to a return to the interest of research in this area. After all, when working with such an instrument as state aid, the Antimonopoly Committee needs a doctrinal - theoretical basis for understanding the conceptual foundations of the functioning of this institute in EU law.
