The dissertation is devoted to the research of the problems of public administration in the field of aquaculture. It is proven that the significant problem today is the rather slow development of aquaculture, which is associated with the lack of economic support from the state, a decrease in investments, tax burdens, etc. All this requires detailed scientific and theoretical research, starting with the peculiarities of the formation and development of this field, ending with its current state and the questions of what needs to be done for its development and entry into the European market.
