Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the solution of the scientific and technical task of researching the features of the processes of spheroidization and dispersion of material during plasma-arc spraying of current-carrying wires and the influence of these processes on the structure formation, chemical and phase composition, and properties of the obtained granules and coatings. The work experimentally investigated the influence of technological parameters of the process of plasma-arc spraying of сurrent-carrying wires of different chemical composition on the formation of the granulometric composition and the shape of the obtained granules during their hardening and spheroidization in various environments. The features of the process of plasma-arc spraying of flux-cored wires and the formation of the structure, chemical and phase composition of granules and coatings of the intermetallic type are considered. The energy efficiency and productivity of the specified process were investigated, a comparative analysis of these characteristics with other common methods of plasma spheroidization of wire materials was carried out. The scientific principles for the design and manufacture of equipment and practical technologies for obtaining spherical granules from complex alloys and intermetallics for use in the field of 3D printing and powder metallurgy have been developed.
