Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the scientific substantiation of the technology of drip irrigation of sunflower hybrids in the soil and climatic conditions of the subzone of the Steppe of Dry Ukraine, namely, the schemes of laying irrigation pipelines and the water supply regime. The purpose of the study was to scientifically substantiate the elements of the technology of drip irrigation of sunflower hybrids. Research object: technological process of drip irrigation, soil environment, production processes of sunflower hybrids. The subject of the study: water regime of the soil, parameters of growth processes and yield of sunflower hybrids. Methods of scientific research - short-term field experiment, generally accepted laboratory, analytical methods and methods of mathematical statistics. In the dissertation, for the first time, the parameters and peculiarities of the formation of irrigation regimes and evapotranspiration ETc were established for the cultivation of sunflower under drip irrigation depending on the schemes of laying irrigation pipelines and the method of water supply, the mathematical dependence (statistical model) "Evaporation - Grain yield" was constructed, the parameters and peculiarities of growth processes were determined and yield formation of sunflower hybrids. The practical significance of the obtained results lies in the development of recommendations on the technology of drip irrigation of sunflower hybrids for confectionery use with a productivity of 4,2-4,4 t/ha, as well as in the development of a technique for managing the drip irrigation mode using the multi-sensor AQUASPY CTG-02 probe. The developed recommendations were implemented during 2022-2023 in the agricultural holdings of the Cherkasy and Dnipropetrovsk regions on an area of 118,5 hectares.
