Zhukova V. Interaction Of Detective Units Of The National Anti-Corruption Bureau Of Ukraine With Supervisory Bodies During The Pre-Trial Investigation

The dissertation contains a systematic analysis of procedural and tactical-organizational problems that arise among NABU detectives, investigators, prosecutors, and employees of operative divisions during interaction with controlling bodies during pre-trial investigation. The choice of the research topic is determined by its relevance both for the science of the criminal process, criminology and operational investigative activities, and for law enforcement practice. Since the tasks of criminal proceedings are ensured mainly by collecting proper, sufficient and admissible evidence, procedural violations during interaction with the supervisory authorities may result in the recognition of the collected evidence as inadmissible, which not only does not meet the requirements of the Law regarding a quick, complete and impartial investigation, but also nullifies the results of the work of all involved employees. The work comprehensively studied the experience of the countries of the European Union in the creation and functioning of anti-corruption law enforcement bodies, the organization of their interaction with controlling bodies, analyzed the peculiarities of the use of the special knowledge of an expert, specialist, auditor/auditor in criminal proceedings, as well as the evidentiary value of the results of their work from the point of view of propriety, sufficiency and admissibility. Successful practices have been found that can be implemented into Ukrainian legislation.
