HYDRAULIC DRIVE SYSTEM, MOTION SYNCHRONISATION, MATHEMATICAL MODEL, BRICK MOULDING MACHINE, ADJUSTABLE THROTTLE, CONTROLLER. The aim of the work is to increase the productivity and accuracy of manufactured products by developing and studying a system of hydraulic drives for synchronising the working movements of an automated brick moulding machine. The object of research is the work processes in the system of hydraulic drives of an automated installation for the formation of brick blanks. The subject of the study is a system of hydraulic drives for synchronising the working movements of an automated brick moulding machine. Research methods. Theoretical studies were carried out on the basis of the equations of mechanics and hydromechanics, the theory of automatic control, as well as using modern software products MATLAB, SolidWorks, Autodesk Simulation SFD, Datafit. Experimental studies were carried out on a special experimental setup using high-precision measuring instruments. The results of the experiments were processed using the methods of experiment planning and mathematical statistics. Providing the construction materials market with cheap and high-quality products, including ceramic bricks, is an important task for domestic production facilities. There are more than 150 ceramic brick production facilities in Ukraine. Among them, a significant part of the market is made up of small producers, whose facilities still have outdated equipment that cannot operate at high productivity and does not allow them to produce high quality products. First and foremost, such enterprises should be modernised at the stage of the production process of making brick blanks. At this stage, the most important characteristic is the correct size of the blanks and the speed of their production. In most cases, at small enterprises, the blanks are made using string cutting machines, which are technically and morally outdated. Replacing such cutting devices with automated systems based on electro-hydraulic drives with controllers will significantly increase the productivity and quality of finished products. In the course of the research work, a new system of hydraulic drives for synchronising the working movements of an automated brick moulding machine with relay control was developed and improved by using an adjustable throttle with proportional electro-hydraulic control with control from the controller. The system ensures the required speed of the machine's carriage, which is synchronised with the clay bar supply. In addition, a control algorithm for the system of hydraulic drives for synchronising the working movements of the automated plant was created, which reduces the dimensional error of brick blanks and increases the productivity of manufactured products. The achieved indicators for the relay-controlled plant are: the error in the size of the workpiece δ = 1,43 · 10-3 m, the plant's productivity A = 5440 pcs/h and the power consumption Pn = 2920 W. Achieved results for the machine with controller control: workpiece dimensional error δ = 1,06 · 10-3, machine capacity A = 6591 pieces/hour, power consumption Pn = 2920 W.
