Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the study of the regularities of the step-by-step movement of oxygen in the body of adolescents and adults during muscle activity of different power and intensity, the nature of the development of this hypoxia load. The purpose of the study is to investigate the physiological features of the modes of oxygen mass transfer, the mechanisms of development and compensation of hypoxia load in adolescents, depending on the age of development and the state of physical fitness. The object of the study is adaptive changes in the oxygen transport system of the body of teenagers with different motor activity. Research methods. Research of the function of external breathing, hemodynamics, phased mass transfer of O2 and CO2, physiological methods of determining physical capacity, analysis of oxygen consumption possibilities. Scientific novelty. For the first time, it was shown that performance of loads of the same power by teenagers and adults takes place with different regimes of oxygen mass transfer; in adolescents, unlike adults, the power of functioning of the system of gradual movement of oxygen in the body during physical exertion is limited by the impossibility of adequate stress of the cardiorespiratory system; in the process of age development and as a result of sports training, the power of the oxygen delivery system increases, the efficiency of hemodynamics in providing tissues with oxygen increases, and the mechanisms that cause its complete utilization from the blood develop; as a result of a decrease in the oxygen capacity of the blood during physical exertion, even of low intensity, the oxygen demand of the body increases significantly, the oxygen cost of work increases, the oxygen debt is greater, and hypoxia of the load develops to a greater degree. According to the results of the dissertation research, it was established that in the process of age development and sports training, the efficiency and economy of oxygen mass transfer regimes increases, which ultimately leads to an increase in the efficiency, a decrease in the oxygen value of the performed mechanical work, and an increase in work capacity.
