Chystiakov A. Concretes for bases of road clothing using secondary aggregates

The object of research is concrete based on secondary aggregates of various types for construction of bases layers of road clothing. The purpose of the study is to determine the optimal compositions of concrete for the construction of the bases of road clothing using secondary aggregates to ensure the required strength. Research methods consists the analysis of technologies for demolition of buildings and structures with the possibility of obtaining high-quality secondary aggregates and the analysis of the life cycle of buildings and structures, taking into account the cycle of their demolition, processing and secondary use in order to prove the ecological feasibility of using secondary aggregates. The development of optimal concrete compositions for the bases of road clothing based on secondary aggregates was carried out in accordance with the recommendations of regulatory documents. Concrete mixtures were modified by using dispersed fiber reinforcement of various types and cement with a blast furnace slag content of up to 65 %. The influence of heterogeneous secondary aggregates on the properties of concrete mixtures was evaluated. The physical and mechanical properties of concrete mixtures and concretes were determined in accordance with current standards on certified equipment. A comprehensive comparative analysis of the obtained data was carried out. The research results are implemented in the production of Cherkasy Oblavtodor Subsidiary JSC "Automobile Roads of Ukraine" JSC, and are also used in the Odessa State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture in the educational process for the preparation of masters in the specialty 192 Construction and Civil Engineering under the educational program "Automobile Roads and airfields".
