Dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in speciality: 192 — «Construction and Civil Engineering." — National Transport University, Kyiv, 2024. The dissertation research is devoted to the development of a method for assessing the condition of bridges based on models of their qualitative state. The work proposes the use of qualimetric models that allow taking into account a wide range of parameters and factors affecting the condition of a transport structure. This approach provides a comprehensive assessment, including an analysis of the physical characteristics of bridge elements, functional systems, operational reliability and economic efficiency. To determine the weighting coefficients of the parameters, an expert method was used, which increases the accuracy and objectivity of the assessments. The study includes the analysis and processing of expert opinions, which allowed us to form a reasonable model for assessing the quality condition of bridges. Determination of the qualitative condition using the qualimetric model is based on the calculation, experimental and expert methods. The results of the study demonstrate that the proposed qualimetric model can be effectively used to assess the condition of bridges, providing the necessary accuracy and completeness of the assessment. This contributes to improving the safety and reliability of transport structures, reducing accidents and optimising the cost of their operation. The thesis contains recommendations for the implementation of the proposed model in the practice of bridge condition management, and also suggests directions for further research in this area.
