Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the main directions of activity of the Soviet state security agencies among the evangelical denominations in the Ukrainian SSR (1940s – mid-1960s). The content, purpose, forms, and methods of work of the Soviet special services of the NKVD-KGB among the evangelical denominations of the Ukrainian SSR during the communist dictatorship were studied based on used and first published archival materials from the SSU Branch-Wise State Archive funds and temporary storage funds of regions department of SSU. Key words: NKVD-KGB, Evangelical Christian-Baptists, Pentecostals, Protestants, repression, religious dissidence, Soviet security services, Intelligence Activities.
