The study outlines the problem of the methodological model of hermeneutical reception of Ukrainian chamber vocal music, with regard to the terminological designation of which the term «Ukrainian academic song» is proposed. Consequently, the research paper focuses on the aggregate «picture» of Ukrainian academic song, which, in terms of the definition of the content resource, synonymously coincides with the concepts of «academic solo» and «academic song» with their multiple experiences of genre and style specialisation.
The thesis proves that their meta-conceptual description is united by such a metaphor as «song» and its derivative mentally characteristic definitions the national archetype of «singing», which is generalised by the concept of «conceptual sphere» and specified by such segments as «concepts» and «conceptual structures».
The scientific novelty of the thesis is determined by the metaconceptual delineation of the Ukrainian academic song as a fundamental symbol of the national culture of Ukraine.
In the course of conducting analytical digressions on the material of chamber and vocal creativity of Ukrainian composers, it was proven that the subject specialization of the scientific definitions from the sphere of conceptual methodology and its terminological models organically fit into the context of the development of the discursive practice of cognitive musicology. Genre and style field of Ukrainian chamber and vocal works is not only samples of professional chamber and vocal music, but also examples of the assimilation of its historically formed genre system in the field of pop music of the late 20th and early 21st century, which represent a high degree of semantic identity with the poetics of the conceptual structures of academic song. It is significant that thinking about the conceptual sphere of Ukrainian academic song provides its specialised differentiation precisely from the side of the genre-stylistic field of Ukrainian vocal heritage, the history of which consists of concepts extended in time in their general cultural value as a «memory of culture».
