Object of research: 222 strains of bacteria insulated from 109 neonates with purulent - septic diseases. Purpose of research: On the basis of analysis of specific struc-ture, sensitivity to antibiotics and immune suppressive properties of microorganisms that cause purulent - septic diseases in neo-nates to elaborate the way of complex treatment. Method of research and equipment: microbiological, immu-nological. Theoretical and practical outcomes: the specific structure of of microorganisms that cause purulent - septic diseases in neonates is studied. Immune suppressive action of microorganisms that cause purulent - septic diseases in neonates on cell and humoral immunity is established. Scientific novelty: therapeutic efficiency of unguentum "Batu-min" in complex treatment of purulent - septic diseases of new-born for the first time is studied. Degree of introduction: the materials of thesis are used in peda-gogical process of three medical higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
