Essay

The object of research: Object of study: Babesia spp., еxperimental model on laboratory animals (nonlinear white mice, Mongolian gerbils, golden hamsters). The aim is to study the biological properties of Babesia spp. and on their basis to improve the diagnosis of babesiosis. Research methods: experimental; cultural; serological; molecular genetic; morphological; cytological; mathematical and statistical. Equipment: electronic scales ANG 200 C 2 cl; microscope "Olympus VH-41"; laboratory centrifuge OPn-3; thermostat with water jacket ZTs - 1125M; air sterilizer GP - 80-1. The dissertation is devoted to solving a topical scientific problem - determining the biological properties of Babesia spp. (cultural, molecular genetic, antigenic), their species specificity in accordance with the taxonomy of animal feeders (reservoirs), biological vectors (Ixodes mites); microscopic parameters of the influence of pathogenic factors of hemoparasites on tropical organs (in the coordinate system: pathogen - vector - reservoir), invasive markers and reproductions of Babesia sp. in erythrocyte substrate; serological parameters in immunocompetent / immunocompromised patients with babesiosis and comorbid / marker / concomitant conditions, which objectively contributed to the effectiveness of the diagnosis of babesiosis. The species of Babesia spp. was determined, genetic monitoring of the circulation of the latter in the habitats of individual populations was carried out, an experimental-biological model was created and a unified clinical-laboratory algorithm of babesiosis was created. A method for detecting human pathogenic babesia using multiplex polymerase chain reaction is proposed. Ways to increase the efficiency and safety of etiopathogenetic diagnosis of Babesia spp. (involving 5 types of primer systems (SP) Bab, Bmi, Bdi, Bca, BabUnF + BabMicR + BabDivR). Indirect parameters of immunosuppression in the prognosis of the risk of babesiosis, the severity of the clinical course of the latter. Recommendations for the use of scanning electron microscopy resources (changes in the ultramicroscopic profile of erythrocytes) in the differential diagnosis of babesiosis and marker / comorbid / concomitant states of resources are given; early / signal (inoculation) markers of morphological skin damage; microscopic changes as parameters of influence of factors of pathogenicity of babesias in tropical to them bodies. The extent of implementation: 15 acts of implementation, 1 patents, 2 industry scientific offers. The field (industry) of use: healthcare (medicine: microbiology, parasitology, infectious diseases, immunology, laboratory diagnostics).
