The frequency, structure and specific gravity of congenital malformations of maxillofacial field in populations of Harkovites, cleft lip and palate in Ukraine, prevalence congenital malformations of maxillofacial field among pupil of children's home was determined at the first time. The risk factors are formed, their complex influence on frequency of birth children with congenital malformations of maxillofacial field is determined. Possibility of early prenatal diagnosis of congenital malformations of maxillofacial field by means of forming the risk groups amongst the pregnants, who will receive following medicogenetic consultation and ultrasonic investigation, is proved.
