Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigation of the physiological activity of plant growth regulators – ivin, emistym C and agrostymulin. Preparation agrostymulin posses auxin- like and cytokinin-like activities, like its components ivin and emistym C. In experiments with maize seedlings (cv. Transcarpathian yellow tooth-shaped) under ivin, emistym C and agrostymulin treatment the increasing of phytohormones IAA and cytokinins level was shown. These changes were accompanied with the stimulation of 14С-aminoacids incorporation into protein of root and shoot tissues and enhancing of mitotic activity of root meristematic cells. It was shown the effectiveness of these regulators applying as components of defense-stimulation composition for maize seed incrustation.
