Essay

The improved shear model of layered composite plates taking into account the layers properties and, as a sequence, the reinforcement angle change is constructed, the peculiarities of the plates stress-strain states are established. The shear theory of the orthotropic shallow shells and plates of the second approximation is developed. The numerical realization of the developed shear theory is performed, on its basis the new 2D finite element of the layered anisotropical shallow shell is elaborated. The element is differed by its versatility. The applied problems of layered plates and shells calculation are solved, the stress-strain state of the anisotropical toroidal shell (large scale tyre) is investigated.
