Essay

The thesis is devoted to the investigations of influence of deficit and excess mineral nutrition, trunk girdling and flooding on separate components of source-sink system of apple trees. Certain behaviours in accumulation of assimilates and nutrients in leaves, dry matter distribution have been manifested as dependent on influencing factor and variety. It has been established, that the occurence of fruits may change significantly reaction of plants to stress factors. The received results about source-sink disturbance influence on nutrient, pigment and carbohydrate contents are recommended for the testing of fruit trees requirements in fertilizers and carrying out the monitoring of plantation conditions.
