The thesis focuses on substantiation of methods and algorithm of an evaluation of availability index of product of high-voltage isolation of an electric power equipment because of analysis of correlation's of processes of degradation in isolation, of a thermal mode with allowance for of exponential growth of dielectric losses with tempera ture,and aiso indirect heat sources; researches of a termal breakdown of electrical isola tion and developments of statistical methods of processing of the diagnostic informati on. Main outcomes: the task about allocation of temperature in a dielectric with allowance for of indirect heat sources and change of a spectific resistance on width of a dielect ric is solved; the integrated method of definition of a trend of diadnostic parameters in real-time mode is developed; the technique of definition of a degree of thermal stabi lity of isolation in a stationary mode on offered criterions is developed; the algorithm of technical diagnosing is develope d.
