Essay

The study of 196 patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis and 30 normal subjects resulted in an improved diagnosis of chronic relapsing pancreatitis, better outcomes of treating patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis based on the development of a differentiated tactics of therapy using a phospholipase A inhibitor. Methods: biochemical, radioimmunologic, immunofermental, immunologic, instrumental. The diagnostic value of various methods used to determine phospholipase A in the blood of patients with chronic relapsing pancreatitis has been proved. The advisability of treating chronic relapsing pancreatitis with tethacine-calcium, a phospholipase A inhibitor, has been grounded. The introduction of these methods of diagnosis and treatment of chronic relapsing pancreatitis allowed us to decrease the time of disease by 3,2 days. The results have been introduced into the practice of terapeutic and gastroenterologic departaments of city and regional hospitals; into the academic process of medical ins titutes, the national school of gastroenterologists and hepatologists
