Essay

The results of study of low temperature (+3 ± 1°C) effect on growth reaction and metabolism of soybean seedlings have been summarized. The alterations of some substances content in cotyledons and activity of hydrolysis enzymes and dehydrogenases in the cotyledons and roots have been ascertained. The differences of direction and rate of adaptation processes between cultivars have been showed. This differences probably determine unequal efficiency of adaptation of studied cultivars seedlings to low temperature.
