The thesis is devoted to the diesel locomotive efficiency increase by the application of a new plate wat? ter-oiled heat exchanger design, that allows to substitute heat exchange appliances with pipe-like housing with heat exchange surfaces of stall diameter copper pipes for plate surfaces of thin that will allow not to use scarce non-ferrous metals and will reduce its maintenance expenses galvanized steel sheet with corrugations of special profile and to use the forced vibration for the intensification of heat exchange. The thesis contains theoretical substation and experimental acknowledgement of the developed d heat exchanger efficiency. The mathematical model of calculation of the parameters of heat exchange surface with corrugations of special profile has been developed. The geometric characteristics of this model has been determined on its basis.
