Essay

The given thesis is dedicated to the study of the technology of the alfalfa hay stocking up by different times of shaft processing in the process field curing using the new many purpose fodder collecting BKM-F2 machine. The dynamics of moisture educing, dry matter losses because of the knocking down by the working parts of the machine and chemical composition of the mowed alfalfa mass depending on the times of the processing in the period of the field curing has been stated. Nutrient digestibility, nitrogen balance in sheep and young cattle performance rearing on meat when fed with the alfalfa hay prepared by the different technologies has been determined. Calculations of the economic efficiency of the laying in and using alfalfa hay in the diets of the farm animals have been carried out. Technology of the laying in alfalfa hay with the optimal times of processing is based on the providing the high level of nutrients conservation, decreasing the fuel-energy losses, it also facilitates to the increasin g the nutritional value and productivity of hay.
