TThesis is devoted to investigation of phase equilibria of Tl2S(Se,Te)-ZrS2(Se2,Te2), Tl5Se2Br-Tl5Se2I and Tl6SI4-Tl6SeI4 systems, properties of compounds forming in systems (І) and thallous chalcohalides. The phase diagrams have been established. Formation of six new compounds has been found in the systems Tl2S(Se,Te)-ZrS2(Se2,Te2) and continuous series of substitutional solid solutions have been established in the chalcohalides systems. The properties investigations carried out to single crystals. Regularities of the properties of the compounds at the passages S(r)Se(r)Te and S(r)Se, Br(r)I have been analysed. The specific properties of the crystals make it possible to use them in different applications.
