The dissertation is dedicated to one of the main problems of Canada ( the Quebec national question in 80s-90s years of the XXth century. For the first time it is a complex analyses of different aspects of this problem connecting with the sta-tus of French-Canadian population in the province of Quebec. It is marked a cohe-siveties among Quebec separatism and historic traditions, specifics of present de-velopment. It is determined that constitutional crisis make complicate to compro-mise with Quebecois. It is studying the Canadian experience of democratic ways to regulate the situation with the coexistence of continental economic integration and decentralisation of power in the federation
