Methods: biochemical, radioimmunologic, instrumen- tal. A probe has been invented and an euphylline-calcium test proposed to study the exocrine secretory function of the pancreas. The indices of "deviation" of the enzymes to the blood as well as indices of assessing its ultrasound histogram have been marked out. The diagnostic value of the given methods has been demonstrated and algorithms of the therapeutic tactics choice elaborated based on their results in case of chronic relapsing pancreatitis.
