Essay

The dissertation work is devoted to the detailed study of sow's reproductive ability traits at pure-bred breeding. As a result of the conducted experiments it was determined that the piglets' living weigt at birth affects their survivability, rate of growth and their reproductive traits. It was determined that the most successful is the combination of sows born with a large living weight with boars born little and taken from the most multi-fertile litters.
