Tarasov V. Effectiveness of use of specialized meat pig breeds in breed-linear hybridization with universal breeds.

The purpose of the work was studying use effectiveness of specialized meat breed in two and three-breed variations of breed-linear hybridization with broodmares of new stud tupe 'Dniprovskyi'. Methods of animal technics research modeling of selective features and determining biochemical indices of blood serum were used. It was determined that the most optimum hybridization variant appeared to be the joining of breeds (Big white х Big Black) х Landras. The use of the best breeds joins in the system of breed-linear hybridization provides the increase of average daily accretion from 54 to 65 grams, age reduction of achieving 100 kgs weight for 15…17 days. Expediency of using T.Bridges' model for evaluation of growth parameters of pigs and forecasting of animals' weight are shown. Results of research are implemented at industrial agri complex Agrifarm Separate Enterprise 'Zaporizka Nuclear Power Station'.
