The thesis is devoted to the studying of histochemical, immunohistochemical and ultrastructural characteristics of endocrine cells (EC) in breast It was found that EC occurred in 35% of BC. Usually these cells were revealed in mucinous carcinomas (50%) and infiltrative glandular carcinomas (33%). It was established that BC with EC, which contained more than 10% of EC of the total tumor cell population were more aggressive than BC with single EC (less than 10%). That was confirmed by the features of histological structures of these BC and also low 5-year survival (61.66(9,6)% of patients compare with the lastgroup (82.23(8,03)%, (p<0.05).
