Pshenychnyj I. The organized transnational criminality and role of law enforcement authorities in the counteraction.

Об'єкт дослідження - is an organized transnational crime and law enforcement activities in counteracting it. Мета дослідження is to determine basic elements of this notion on the basis of analysis of theoretical conceptions and practical achievements of law enforcement and judicial bodies, state authorities as well as international organizations dealing with the organized transnational crime problems so as to argue the most rational and real ways of further law enforcement bodies activities in fighting the organized transnational crime. Методи дослідження і апаратура - a) general scientific (systematic, logically juridical, comparatively juridical); b) the scientific (psychological, logical, correlation, functional, extrapolation and simulation); c) concretely sociological (interviewing, questioning, study of criminal cases); d) statistical (observation, consolidation, grouping, indicators analysis). Теоретичні результати і новизна - the formulated theoretical provisions can serve as a scientific foun dation for further improvement of existing legislation and strengthening of counteraction against organized transnational crime by law enforcement authorities. Практичні результати і новизна - this proposals, stated in it, can be: a) are realized for want of addition and improvement of the current legislation; b) are used in practical activity law enforcement authorities; c) The separate postulates and conclusions were taken in to statements "Problems of struggle is organized transnational crimes" National Academy of Interior Affairs of Ukraine. Предмет і ступінь впровадження - the formulated provisions have been practically implemented and partly used in educational process of the National Academy of Interior Affairs, activities of certain departments of the Ministry of Interior Affairs, the Security Service of Ukraine, the State Custom Service and State Committee on boundaries of Ukraine. In the process of working on dissertation research the author was involved in drafting the Decree of the Cabinet of Mini sters of Ukraine on the Program of women and children trade prevention. Ефективність впровадження - the Decree of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine on the Program of women and children trade prevention was adopted on September 25, 1999 by the Government of Ukraine. Some other researcher's suggestions on the resistance to this course of criminal activities of transnational crime organizations were positively estimated.
