3. Poetic images of poetic texts of the modern American poetry. Logical-syntactical relations between the elements of the image and linguistic means of their reflection in poetic texts. Study and systematization of diverse syntactical constructions in the context of which the poetic image is realized. The objective and tasks of the research work determined the usage of the inductive, deductive, descriptive-analytical, definitional, comparative methods of analysis. A new approach was proposed to the study of the traditional elements of the stylistic analysis - metaphor, comparison, epithet. These units of the artistic reflection of reality are considered on the conceptual level. Stylistics of English language, practical course of teaching English, interpretation of fiction.
