The thesis is being defended, in which the results of theoretical and experimental investigations on the determination and optimisation of the main parameters and working conditions of the brush device of vegetable harvester TAKI-18 are stated. The process of onion leaf separation by the mean of brush device has been investigated on the basis of this investigation the optimum parametersand working conditions are determined and the practical recommendations on adaptation of TAKI-18 vegetable combine harvester for the onion harvesting.
