Essay

The dissertation deals with the problems of early medieval history of India, specially the period of so-called "Harsha's Empire" /606-646/7/. It 's devoted to the characteristic features of traditional Indian political system and social institutes and they are discussed on the concrete historical example. The author comes to conclusion that this period shoes the harmony of classical Indian sociaty, based on jati-sistem and hinduism, representating its fundumental structural and functional unit. Thesis based on the original and translated documents and new approaches for the oriental civilizations' studies. It would be of special interest for the future scientific investigations, connected with the Indian history.
