Essay

The dissertation is devoted to the investigations of phase equilibria in the ternary systems and crystal structures and also some physical properties of intermetallic compounds. Isothermal sections at 870 K for {Ti, Hf}-{Co, Ni, Cu}-In systems have been built. The existence of 9 ternary compounds was confirmed and existence of 10 compounds was established and for 5 of them crystal structure was investigated at the first time. Existence of solid solutions on the basis of 5 binary and ranges of homogeneity of 2 ternary compounds also has been established. Crystal structure (by single crystal method) of 2 compounds in Tm-Co-In system was specified and established for new PrNiIn2 compound and was found 4 isotypic. For 3 compounds magnetic and electrical properties has been investigated.
