Philosophical and religious studies of the Orthodox fraternities' activity and their influence on the formation of the national self-awareness of Ukrainians. Analysis, synthesis, comparison, generalization. The complex analysis of the fraternities as the subject of independence and the defense of Ukrainian Orthodox spirit as well as the means and ways of their influence on the formation of national self-awareness and the national content of educational activity of the fraternities are presented for the first time.
