AGAFONOVA O. Age-specific clinical and immune-endocrinological particularities of the children with repeated respiratory diseases, the efficacy of the use of complex immune preparation alone or association with thymogen

The research is devoted to an importent problem in pediatrics, to immunological rehabilitation of the children with repiated respiratory diseases. To settle this problem, the investigation of age-dependent changes of the cellular and humoral immunity, the measurement of the level of thyroid hormones, progesterone and cortisole were performed in children with repeated respiratory diseases in comparison to episodically ill ones. The correlation between the reseaved datas of the immune and endocrine status of the children with repeated respiratory diseases was investigated, using multiple dimentional statistical methods. Clinical and immunological efficacy of the complex immune preparation alone or in association with thymogen, and its influence on the level of thyroid hormones, progesterone and cortisole were evaluated. The research covered 139 children with repeated respiratory diseases of age 1 to 10 years old and 30 episodically ill children. In all the followed children the clinical symptoms of the repeated respiratory diseases was evaluated considering the datas of anamnesis, the results of paraclinical investigations, the levels of cellular and humoral immunity and the levels of thyroid and steroid hormones. With the aime to determine that degree of disintegration of immune and endocrine systems, Their factorial analysis was performed.
